Privacy
Babeslop uses limited first-party data to run the channel, review sponsors, settle payments, prevent abuse, and publish understandable aggregate analytics.
What we collect
- For viewers: random first-party visitor and session identifiers, requested page, approximate device type, referring host, sponsor impressions, and outbound sponsor clicks.
- For sponsors: contact email, brand and destination details, submitted creative, moderation history, accepted terms, private access credentials, payment-provider identifiers, and payment/refund/dispute status.
- Hosting, storage, analytics, security, and payment providers may process technical request data such as IP addresses under their own service terms.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and secure the service, review creatives, authenticate private sponsor pages, calculate the daily market, reconcile provider webhooks, measure delivery, investigate abuse, and maintain financial and moderation records.
Public sponsor information
Approved sponsors that complete a takeover may receive a public profile containing the brand, tagline, description, category, moderated creative, destination, paid scores, reign history, and aggregate delivery metrics. Buyer email, private tokens, processor IDs, internal notes, and raw visitor identifiers are never part of that public profile.
Analytics and cookies
First-party cookies keep anonymous visitor and session identifiers so repeated views can be estimated without creating viewer accounts. Identifiers stored with event records are hashed. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights may also collect privacy-focused performance and usage measurements. Babeslop does not sell personal information or use its event ledger for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Payments and storage
Payment details are entered on the provider’s hosted checkout; Babeslop does not receive full card numbers. Sponsor media is stored with access controls and served publicly only after approval and publication. Records may be retained as needed for the permanent sponsor archive, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, legal obligations, and service integrity.
Choices and requests
You can block or clear first-party cookies in your browser, although aggregate counts may become less accurate. Sponsors can request correction of their contact information or ask about removal of unpublished personal data using the contact method provided with their private sponsor status link. Some financial, security, and historical transaction records must be retained.
